Treatments & specialties

What people travel to Odisha for.

Availability varies by partner and by city, and we would rather tell you that than pretend to statewide coverage of everything. Below is what the network handles today. If your condition is not here, ask anyway — we will tell you whether Odisha is the right place for it, and where to go if it is not.

Specialties

Nine areas the network works in.

Orthopaedics & joint replacement

Knee and hip replacement, arthroscopy, fracture and trauma follow-up, sports injury. The category most people travel for — and the one where a supervised recovery stay makes the biggest difference to the result.

Spine care

Slipped disc, sciatica, spinal decompression and fusion — and the conservative route, because a large share of spine referrals do better with structured physiotherapy than with a theatre.

Physiotherapy & rehabilitation

Post-stroke, post-operative, neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation, with a supervised programme you continue at home. The founder's own field.

Cardiac care

Consultation, angiography and angioplasty, and structured cardiac rehabilitation afterwards. Coordinated with your existing cardiologist, not around them.

Maternity & women's health

Antenatal care, delivery, gynaecological surgery and post-natal recovery, with the family accommodated rather than sent to find a hotel.

Eye & dental care

Cataract, refractive and retinal work; implants, crowns and full-mouth rehabilitation. Short trips, often combined with a few days at the coast.

Ayurveda, naturopathy & reversal

Panchakarma-style therapy, naturopathy, yoga therapy and structured lifestyle programmes for diabetes and hypertension — alongside your physician, never in place of them. → Wellness

Elder & long-term care

Post-discharge supervision, long-stay nursing support, and family training so the care continues at home instead of unravelling there.

Before you decide

Start with an opinion, not a booking.

Send your reports. A registered specialist in the relevant department reads them and answers in writing, usually within 48 hours — including when the answer is that you should be treated closer to home.

Questions

About treatment here.

Can I get a second opinion before travelling?

Yes, and it is the usual first step. Send your reports and a registered specialist in the relevant department gives a written opinion, normally within 48 hours. There is no charge, and the note says plainly if the procedure is better done near your home.

Which city will I be treated in?

Most partner hospitals are in Bhubaneswar, where the state's hospitals, laboratories and specialists sit close together and the international airport is in the city. Wellness and recovery partners are outside the city, within about an hour's drive.

What if my condition is not listed?

Ask anyway. We will tell you whether the network covers it, and where to go if it does not. Highly sub-specialised work is sometimes better done elsewhere, and saying so is part of the service. Where Odisha's limits are →
