Prevention, not just treatment
Care starts upstream — with food, movement, sleep and stress, long before any of it becomes a prescription. It is why wellness sits beside surgery on this site rather than in a different business.

Marketplaces in healthcare usually have a company behind them and nobody in particular. This one has a physiotherapist who spent nearly twenty years trying to get care out to people the hospitals never reach, and who now runs hospital beds himself.

Physiotherapist · Hospital operator · Public health innovator
In 2008, still in college, Dr Gyanaranjan Pradhan started on a question he has not put down since: why should access to care depend on geography, income, or whether there happens to be a hospital nearby? Everything he has built since is an attempt at an answer.
It started with E-Swasthya Kutira — a "digital health cottage", village-level ICT centres offering health information and tele-counselling, built years before mobile health was a category anyone was funding. It led to HelloPhysio 24x7, one of India's early physiotherapy helplines, and to the HelloPhysio Charitable Trust and Hello 2 Able 24x7, a support initiative for older adults, people with disabilities and families managing long-term care.
Then he stopped advising healthcare and started running it. Today Dr Gyana operates two 25-bed hospitals in Odisha and The Reversal, a wellness resort near Jhumuka Dam with an Ayurvedic naturopathy unit — which means he deals with the unglamorous end of this business daily: rosters, registration renewals, an estimate that has to be honoured, a family that needs a straight answer at nine in the evening.
Running beds is what made him build this marketplace. He kept meeting patients who had travelled two thousand kilometres for a procedure done routinely forty minutes from their home; families quoted one number on the phone and billed another at discharge; people abroad trying to arrange a parent's surgery through a website with no name on it. The supply in Odisha was better than its reputation, and there was nowhere trustworthy to see it.
HealthTour Odisha is that list — with a rule he could live with. If a partner would not be good enough for his own ward, it does not go on the site.
Appointments don't heal people. Consistency heals people. Families create consistency. — Dr Gyanaranjan Pradhan
Three principles
Care starts upstream — with food, movement, sleep and stress, long before any of it becomes a prescription. It is why wellness sits beside surgery on this site rather than in a different business.
Treatment only works if it survives the trip home. Which is why every case here ends with a written plan and a follow-up call, not a discharge and a wave.
Care nobody has to take a fortnight off and a foreign loan to attend. The point of Odisha is that good treatment can be close, affordable and unhurried at the same time.
Ask him directly
If you are weighing a procedure for a condition you are managing, say so. It reaches the people who can answer it, not a booking desk.
